Hong Kong Observatory Warnings Web Feed Service

In order to let you know the latest warning messages from the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) in a quicker way, the Pacific Tropical Cyclone Centre (PTCC) has made some web feeds:

  1. This service is not provided by the HKO directly, but PTCC has been permitted to reproduce and re-disseminate the contents from the Hong Kong Observatory website.
  2. PTCC provides the web feed service on a free of charge basis to individuals and non-profit organizations for non-commercial use. Unless prior permission was given by the webmasters of PTCC, all commercial uses are not allowed.

The format of the web feeds produced by PTCC is Atom 1.0. It is a Proposed Standard by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), supported by most feed readers.

Feed Encoding
