“extraordinary” SLP estimation by China Meteorological Administration (CMA)!

The Sea level pressure (SLP) estimations by the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) were extrememly crazy during the past 2 days……

I’ll talk more about that after GONI dies later this week… or next week…

    that’s amazing!!
goni has intensified into a TS again!!
    hopefully it can keep intensifying!!:P

    i really love your site!
    your site is absolutely professtional

but why PTCC only has one language?
you two guys are local students.. aren’t u?

    • Jams says:

ya… its centre pressure was kept at ~988 hPa during its journey over western Guangdong
near-gale force winds recorded at Dongfang, HKO re-upgraded it just now~
not impossible, at least some “big” models support
but goni’s going so west now :D

thanks for your support! how long have you been here?

      time……
we dont have the time to work on other langs =(
yup, univ student, we have our own schoolwork
      …always too busy =(

we chose English coz there’re too many chinese weather-related sites in hk
      &… i think it’s easier to type in Eng…

  2. ayx says:

    will goni keep intensifying? LOL
um..i’ve been here about 1 month..
just googled ‘Tropical Cyclone’..and then found PTCC:D ha

my thought is same as yours!! typing eng is easier (total agreed!)

    @ayx
more and more models expect it to weaken…in recent runs…

things will become more clear after it goes back to the SCS… as a TS or a dissipating circulation ~.~

oic… any suggestions to the site :P ?

  4. Jams says:

finally….. it came out as a circulation…..without convection
    orz
